Times are a changin'

What's going on? It's starting to get cold outside and it's getting dark sooner - it's been raining so much today that I haven't been able to go outside for more than 2 min at a time. So I've decided to take cover under this blanket.

Yesterday I made friends with the two rabbits that live next door, I think they are a bit shy but I think that if I chase them a bit more they will come around.

Snail Hunter

Christine was making jokes about training me to hunt snails - well I showed her. Yesterday I caught three snails, one at a time and put them in her shoes under the dining room table. Ha!

The great escape

I've been playing in next doors garden today. I climbed out of the dining room window and onto the wall that runs between the two houses. then I jumped into next doors' garden. I stood in their flower pots, ran around their patio and played in their pebbled area. And the best thing of all is that Christine and Paul could only watch from a distance hoping I came back.
Ha ha! No one can stop me now!

I eventually had to go back home to use my litter tray - not sure why I got wrong for this...

My name is Eliot. TS Eliot

We all went to the vets today. The woman in the white coat said I was a cute one. She looked at my teeth and then lifted up my tail told me that I was a boy, then she stabbed me in the neck. Yow! Actually, I wasn't that bothered.
She told Christine that she thought I was going to grow quite big because I've got big joints. I'm going to have to grow big if I'm going to get my garden back from the neighbours cat.
Apparently Christine has to worm me this week. Not sure what that is but it sounds like she is going to bury me in the garden.

Summertime and the living is easy...

Hello,

I've been having loads of fun terrorising Christine and Paul. Paul is my main wrestling buddy -somebody I can really get my teeth stuck into. I'm not sure he enjoys it as much as me. He laughs at me when I run around with my long pink ribbon streaming out behind me - I don't care that he thinks it's a bit girlie.

I met my Wiltshire grandparents last week - once I got to know them they didn't want to leave me. Grandma played with me loads, whilst granddad took the windows out and put them back in again...don't ask me. Seems like strange behavior to a kitten.

I've learnt how to jump a bit higher and I'm getting braver. I can jump onto the wall between my house and Pat & Dons but they keep on stopping me from going right over.

Scratch post and pom pom

Gardening fun

Today Christine and Paul were busy in the garden, so it was a prime oppertunity for me to do some more exploring. I found this brilliant bush which has rocks and chunky branches underneath. This is where I spent most of the afternoon, moving in and out of the sunshine. But I did have to make a quick trip indoors to go for a number two.
I'm starting to get my bearings in the house- it's completely different to the one in Lewes. I have only explored the kitchen and the livingroom so far. The kitchen is where I get food and also where I sleep at night. I've been playing with my scratching post tonight in the livingroom, its fantastic . For some reason they have covered their sofa in blankets - it's my favourite place to climb. All this exploring and new stuff - it tires me out so quickly but forty winks later and the batteries are recharged.

I Have Arrived . . .

Well, finally I have made it to Eastbourne. Christine came to collect me from Lewes yesterday. After saying 'goodbye' to my mum, Cherry and Cherry's grandchildren - (they're great pals of mine I will miss them - thanks for playing with me) we were off on our travels. I fell asleep on the train (commuting always does that to me), apart from when the ticket checker man clipped a ticket right outside my carry box and made me jump. We grabbed a taxi from the station and made it back to the house just in time to meet Paul before he went out for the evening.
I've got loads of exploring to do and I've got so many new things. I especially like my new bed - that's me snoozing it it above. Christine put a warm hot-water-bottle under the blanket to keep me warm last night. I've got a brand new litter tray which I soon proved that I knew how to use. It has a different type of litter in it to what I am used to - I quite like the feeling of it and I actually had a secret nap in there whilst no one was looking.

Embarrassing secret

I heard that Christine had been on the phone today to find out if I was ready to move home. But the lady (Cherry) says that I'm not quite there yet. I can't believe it - she told Christine that I forget where the toilet is when I get too far away from it. How embarrassing - how am I meant to make a good impression if she tells her things like that. It's not like my brother knows where to go...

Family

I'm sad to be leaving behind my brother and my tortoise shell sister (above) - but they are going to lovely homes too.

Me and my Brother

This is my brother on the left - he's slightly darker ginger than me. And his white patches aren't as even
